Sorolla in paradise

The Avila 1131 space brings to Avila a series of photographs, belonging to the Sorolla museum.

A series of photos, of the life of the painter Sorolla, of the passage of his years in his studio, photos of his works in nature and a series of photos of portraits and a series of photos of his album of Sorolla.

You can visit the exhibition in Calle Caballeros, 17, 05001 Ávila from Monday to Friday from 10: 0014: 00 and 16:00 to 20: 00h and Saturdays from 10: 00h to 14: 00h for free.

And to complete this exhibition, the space of Avila 1131, holds three creative workshops totally free. This series of workshops are theoretical-practical to give the work of sorolla its works and also a children's workshop for the little ones.

Incantil creative workshop (from 8 to 12 years old)

With the smallest of the house, we will carry out a workshop creating a dark camera from scratch, which we will use with the children taking their first photo. And then we will reveal and so they will have their photos.

March 21:

Creative photography workshop, outdoors

For amateur and photography lovers, we will recreate some of the painter's most recognized works, (girls on the beach and one of his nature works) and so we can learn his way of working. But from the point of view of photography where we learn to illuminate and simulate the photos of the exhibition that we will have available in Avila
